Dapdune Road
Award Winning Experimental Artistic Short Film

Dapdune Road takes us on a journey with Malene (19), who struggles with mental disorders and drug addiction. After she is discharged from the psychiatric hospital, her anxiety level rises and she once again turns to drugs for comfort. As she rides down Dapdune Road in a drug-induced psychosis, she is confronted by other lost souls and her own inner struggle. External events inspire her to take control of her own future.
Dapdune Road was produced by Foton4 Film in co-operation with Aural Art Productions and was completed in 2023.
The film was financed by Foton4 Film, Aural Art Productions, Filmkraft, Stavanger Kommune, Sparebank 1, and Trafo.
As well as being part of the Official Selection at multiple film festivals worldwide, the film has won the following awards:

Documentary - 2024
This documentary is about a young sound artist and aspiring composer named Frida Feline, from Stavanger Norway.
The film shows her journey as she works to compose a piece of orchestra music that captures the essence of spring and the dramatic nature in Rogaland, Norway.
Frida's ultimate goal is to have the piece played by a professional symphony orchestra, but in order to achieve this goal she first needs to overcome internal and external struggles.
This project is being produced by Foton4 Film in cooperation with Aural Art Productions and is currently under development.

Artistic Short Film - 2024
A young painter is adrift in the North Sea searching for inspiration and a creative part of herself she has lost touch with. She is forced to confront the loneliness and negative emotions building inside her. During a desperate and potentially fatal encounter with the cold dark ocean, she needs to reconnect with herself and find the strength to reach the surface and regain her will to live.
This project is being produced by Foton4 Film in cooperation with Aural Art Productions and is currently under development.
