Dapdune Road
Award Winning Experimental Artistic Short Film

Dapdune Road takes us on a journey with Malene (19), who struggles with mental disorders and drug addiction. After she is discharged from the psychiatric hospital, her anxiety level rises and she once again turns to drugs for comfort. As she rides down Dapdune Road in a drug-induced psychosis, she is confronted by other lost souls and her own inner struggle. External events inspire her to take control of her own future.

Dapdune Road was produced by Foton4 Film in co-operation with Aural Art Productions and was completed in 2023.
​
The film was financed by Foton4 Film, Aural Art Productions, Filmkraft, Stavanger Kommune, Sparebank 1, and Trafo.
