nEUROcare
Colombo, Sri Lanka
With our cooperating partner Triskelion Norway we participated in the Erasmus+ project "nEUROcare".
This project is a European initiative for capacity building in the field of Higher Education (CBHE) to meet the challenges of caring for people with neurodegenerative disorders in Sri Lanka.
The ultimate target of the project is to establish a postgraduate education programme (Masters of NDD) for nurses working with neurodegenerative disorders in each of the Sri Lankan partner Universities.
This is a joint project through the main coordination of Kristianstad University (Sweden) with partner Universities in Europe and Sri Lanka namely Triskelion (Norway), University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), University of Tartu (Estonia), Neapolis University Pafos (Cyprus), University of Colombo (Sri Lanka), University of Ruhuna (Sri Lanka), University of Peradeniya and Kotelawala Defense University (Sri Lanka).
The 4 year long project included several meetings and workshops and culminated in the 2nd nEUROcare conference held at the University of Colombo in November 2024.

Neurodivergent
Malaga, Spain
With our cooperating partner Godalen VGS we participated in the Erasmus+ project "Neurodivergent".
The Neurodivergent project aims to develop a training programme for educational professionals and staff to enhance their abilities to work successfully with students with Autism and in turn, decrease early school leaving and improve outcomes.
This is a joint project between Godalen VGS (Norway), Sotogrande International School (Spain), Kristianstad University (Sweden), Autism Europe (Belgium), Rigas 5. Pamatskola (Latvia), Autismeforeningen (Norway), and Board of Education Vienna (Austria),
The 3 year long project included several meetings and workshops and culminated in a conference held Malaga, Spain in November 2022.

Power of Creativity
Klaipeda, Lithuania and Verona, Italy
With our cooperating partner Triskelion Norway we participated in the Erasmus+ project "Power of Creativity". Strengthening the supporting role of the adult educators working with disabled persons.
This project aims to support adult trainers with new digital, interactive and creative teaching methods in work with disabled persons, and to also help increase disabled adult social inclusion, preparing them for a digitized society.
This is a joint project through the main coordination of Kūrybinės ateities idėjos (KAI) – Lithuania and with partners: Polo Europeo della Conoscenza - IC di Bosco Chiesanuova, EUROPOLE - Italy, Educational Center IDEJA - Latvia, Triskelion Norway - Norway, University Rehabilitation Institute Republic of Slovenia – Slovenia, and Formación para el Desarrollo y la Inclusión - Spain.
The 18 month long project included meetings and workshops in each of the partner countries. We participated in several of the meetings and workshops.
